(Des Moines, Iowa) – A restaurant in Montgomery County is among a dozen establishments cited for food safety violations in recent weeks, according to a report from the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing (IDALS). The Iowa Capital Dispatch says the state inspections department reminds the public that their reports are a “snapshot” in time, and violations are often corrected on the spot before the inspector leaves the establishment. Updates to Financial Aid Disbursements
The following are important updates to financial aid disbursements. Remember: It's not too late to fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)!. Beginning with the Fall 2024 semester, most financial aid (grants, loans, and scholarships) will be disbursed to students' accounts AFTER the last day to drop a class and receive a 100% refund. Aid will start disbursing on or after Wednesday, September 4th depending on any holds or reviews that need to be done. Keep in mind that funds will not disburse until all holds and To-Do List items have been removed or completed from your account.
