His friend picked him up, and the two went bar hopping in downtown Anoka. The friend dropped Tuttle off at his apartment at the end of the night. A Big Lake man was sent to the hospital as a result of a single-vehicle car crash on Friday evening (7/19) in Melrose Township in neighboring Stearns County. 40-year-old Daniel Joseph Holappa was eastbound on Interstate 94 when his GMC Sierra left the roadway, striking the median barriers at the intersection of MN Highway 4.

Officers say they found two pit bulls “actively” attacking the child and discharged their weapons, killing one dog and wounding the other. The boy was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital where he’s now reportedly in critical condition. The incident is still under investigation.
