Boy, do I identify with this one. There's a new study that claims that one out of every three people in Illinois are 'always tired'. I need a nap. How about you?. This is an interesting new study from Talker which sampled a huge amount of people to learn about their energy level (or lack thereof). The big picture takeaway from their questions is that one out of every 3 people say they often or always feel tired even after a good night's sleep. Something is very wrong here.

On Tuesday, July 9th, “Taps on Tuesday” was sounded at 6:00 p.m. in a light rain, but the program on “Illinois Troops at the Battle of Gettysburg” was postponed until this week’s “Taps” Program. This week’s program hosts and speakers are Greg Green, Larry Weatherford, and Tara Auter. Rebecca Woodrum will perform the National Anthem, and “Taps” will be presented by Ruth Sowers. “Taps on Tuesday” is held each week between Memorial Day and the day after Labor Day at the Soldiers Circle at Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville. GIBSON CITY – The Gibson Area Swim Team finished second in a triangular meet on Saturday. The GAST finished with a combined score of 161 behind the Milford Dolphins (321) and ahead of the Hoopeston Stingrays (32). The GAST girls finished second with a score of 101 while the boys finished second with a score of 60.

A Taste of Both Worlds opened at the beginning of 2021 as Champaign-Urbana’s only Filipino and Cambodian eatery. Pillsbury plant artifacts recovered from fire-ravaged building at 413 E. Adams
Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – After initially believing all was lost in the fire at 413 E. Adams St. in June, Moving Pillsbury Forward has now recovered some of the Pillsbury plant artifacts from the damaged building. MPF President Chris Richmond estimates they were able to recover 30% of the art and artifact collection that was stored and exhibited on the third floor. Among the items recovered are the bicep doughboy panel, the smutters chalkboard, three custom metal grain scoops, and the service department rolodex.
