CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul 16, 2024-- The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago) is providing $50 million in interest rate subsidies to help expand affordable housing, economic development, and community partnerships in Illinois and Wisconsin through its new Community Impact Advance Pilot Program. This Program provides an up to two percent reduction in interest rates on advances, which are secured loans, to help FHLBank Chicago member financial institutions support their customers and amplify the impact they are making in their communities. Pillsbury plant artifacts recovered from fire-ravaged building at 413 E. Adams
Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – After initially believing all was lost in the fire at 413 E. Adams St. in June, Moving Pillsbury Forward has now recovered some of the Pillsbury plant artifacts from the damaged building. MPF President Chris Richmond estimates they were able to recover 30% of the art and artifact collection that was stored and exhibited on the third floor. Among the items recovered are the bicep doughboy panel, the smutters chalkboard, three custom metal grain scoops, and the service department rolodex.
