Bath Township Fire Department provides update on mulch fire at Resource Recycling
ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - New details are coming out about yesterday's fire at Resource Recycling. The Bath Township Fire Department arrived at the large blaze at around 3:20 p.m. on Sunday. Materials on fire included mulch, cut trees, brush, large industrial crane mats, and pallets. Eighteen agencies from four different counties assisted. Containing the fire was made more difficult because there was not a fire hydrant nearby, and trucks had to travel back and forth to one around a third of a mile away from the scene.

Solon, Cleveland Metroparks trail eyes ‘26 completion date
The city of Solon in partnership with Cleveland Metroparks is working to develop a new trail starting from SOM Center Road and traveling through Solon and Chagrin Falls. Construction on the trail, 2 miles of which sits in Solon, has started and should be completed in 2026, Sean McDermott, chief planning and design officer at Cleveland Metroparks, told the Cleveland Jewish News.
