Cooper and Spencer aiming to take St. Al to new heights in 2024
VICKSBURG, Miss. – Kyleigh Cooper and Madison Spencer are fired up for St. Aloysius’ upcoming softball season as they prepare to hit the field in just a few days. Heading into their senior and junior years, the pitcher/catcher duo have already taken the Lady Flashes’ program to new heights. The team finished off the 2023 with a 15-9 record and leading St. Al to the playoffs for the first time in a decade.
Corps of Engineers updates residents on Yazoo Backwater Study
VICKSBURG, Miss. — The U.S. Corps of Engineers is hosting a series of public meetings to get feedback from residents on ways to prevent ongoing flooding. Cancer Fundraiser for Harper Grace at Elks Lodge August 24
VICKSBURG, Miss. – A fundraiser for Harper Grace, a local 5 year old St. Jude Patient, will be held at the Elks Lodge #95 on August 24. The event will have $10 chicken plates from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and both a live and silent auction. There will also be a $20 per hand Poker Run, additional hands are $5. Registration for the Run begins at 8:30 a.m., with kick stands up at 9 a.m.
