Rankin County teen charged in mother's shooting death to stand trial in September
RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. — A teenage girl accused of killing her mother and injuring her stepfather in a shooting was back in a Rankin County courtroom on Tuesday. Carly Gregg, 14, is being held in an adult jail on a $1 million bond in the shooting death of her mother, Ashley Smylie.
