Emily Simpson on Why Alexis Bellino Is ‘Losing’ Against Shannon Beador

Emily Simpson has continued to provide comedic relief during the latest season of Real Housewives of Orange County. She’s forging a new friendship with Shannon Beador amidst arguably the toughest season of Shannon’s career. However, she’s still able to remain friendly with Shannon’s worst enemy Alexis Bellino , so she’s riding the fence.

Despite being friends with basically the entire cast, Emily is an equally opportunist. She’ll make fun of everyone, from her best friends to her worst enemies, in her confessionals. It’s just part of the Real Housewives game. Emily recently spoke with Page Six about the dynamics of the RHOC crew this season and threw a little shade toward Alexis in the process.

Emily is clearly Team Shannon

During the interview, Emily spent some time praising Shannon for being so humble after her DUI and working to be better. Emily added that it’s even more impressive considering that Shannon is dealing with Alexis and John Janssen at the same time. “It’s never-ending for her,” Emily said. “This is more than any one person should have to deal with.”

While Emily claims she has never had an issue with Alexis dating John, she thinks that the way she’s approached filming with Shannon amidst her relationship isn’t cute. “Shannon’s really winning and I think she deserves that. … She just continues to look like the bigger person in all of this,” Emily said. “Alexis is clearly losing in this battle.” Emily said earlier in the interview that she refused to pick a side in this fight, but her comment insinuates that she’s definitely leaning toward Team Shannon as the RHOC season plays out.
