Jesse Solomon Provides Update on ‘Much Happier’ Carl Radke

Every Summer House fan can probably agree that the best thing to ever happen to both Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard was their breakup. Their relationship was a disaster from the start and only worsened as their wedding day inched closer. The last season of Summer House ended with the breakdown of their engagement, and a whole lot has changed since then.

Carl has gone on to pursue the sober bar idea that Lindsay bashed. Meanwhile, Lindsay found herself another man and fulfilled her dream of getting pregnant. See? It couldn’t be a better scenario for the two of them that they’re no longer together. While Summer House Season 8 was filled with drama, there was one bright beacon of light — Jesse Solomon.

Jesse’s addition to the Summer House crew was the fresh infusion the show needed. He quickly became integrated into the friend group despite all of the turmoil amongst the OGs. Now that Carl and Lindsay’s breakup is far in the rearview mirror, Jesse is providing fans an update on how Carl is doing these days.

Jesse is pumped for the future

Jesse recently answered fan questions on Amazon Live about Summer House in general. Specifically, he was asked to give an update on Carl and Lindsay. “Carl’s great,” Jesse said. “Lindsay’s about to have a baby. So Carl, I think is just — he’s launching a new bar in Williamsburg. He feels very much himself, much lighter, much happier.” Anyone who tuned into the last season of Summer House probably isn’t surprised to hear that Carl feels “lighter” outside of that relationship.

Additionally, Jesse teased fans about what to expect during Summer House Season 9 without giving away any spoilers. “Tension,” he said of the show. “I’m not gonna tell you what’s happening, but you’re gonna wanna watch.” If Jesse says it, it must be true.
