Waterloo boys golf picked up its first win of the season, 183-228, Tuesday over Sebring McKinley.
Trevor Simons and Clayton Smith earned medalist honors for the Vikings (1-1, 1-1 Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference) with each firing a 41. Mitchell Shepherd added a 47 while Trevor Flarida rounded out the scoring with a 54.

Taylor Blazec had another stellar round for the Pirates, earning medalist honors with a 79. Sammy Morgan (84) and Aubree Varga (88) gave Southeast (4-0) three scores below 90 while Jessi Mix (97), Jenni Mix (97) and Layna Tittel (99) also finished in double digits.

Rootstown 166, St. Thomas Aquinas 194
The Rovers (5-1, 1-0) won their Portage Trail Conference opener, led by another stellar effort from Luke Flowers, who carded a 36. Their other three scorers were separated by just two strokes: Trentan Sines (42), Anthony Cambareri (44) and Ryan Wolf (44).

The Greenmen won their second straight match, winning two of three singles matches, including junior Addison Martin's three-set thriller at third singles.
Junior Kamy Milano added a straight-set win at first singles while junior Sophie Cifani and freshman Logan Archibald did the same at first doubles.

Aurora 4, North Royalton 1
The Greenmen picked up their first win Monday behind three straight-set wins and a thriller at second singles.
Aurora senior Zelie Cerda won the closest match of the day, edging North Royalton junior Sana Hameed, 6-1, 6-7, 6-4, at second singles.
Otherwise, the Greenmen cruised with junior Kamy Milano topping Bears senior Shreya Ganapathi, 6-0, 6-2, at first singles, while the duos of Sophie Cifani and Logan Archibald and Eliza Cunningham and Ashley Kohl swept their first and second doubles matches, respectively.
