A York County judge has sentenced a former volunteer at a Red Lion youth center to prison in a sexual abuse case .

Ian M. Ryan, 30, of the 500 block of South Main Street in Red Lion pleaded guilty in April to sexual assault by volunteer of a nonprofit, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old and photographing, videotaping, depicting on computer or filming sexual acts involving a child.

Court of Common Pleas Judge Maria Musti Cook sentenced Ryan on Monday to three to seven years in prison followed by three years of probation, according to the York County District Attorney's Office.

Numerous other charges filed against Ryan were dismissed, online court records show. Ryan had reached a plea agreement, according to the district attorney's office.

Cook ordered Ryan not to have contact with two of three victims. The contact with a third minor is to be governed by state parole conditions, online court records state.

He also was ordered to register as a sex offender, online court records state.

State police charged Ryan earlier this year with sexually abusing two teenagers and photographing, videotaping, depicting on computer or filming sexual acts involving a minor.

Ryan was a volunteer at the 18 South Youth Center in Red Lion , and state police allege he had direct contact with one of the victims.
