Rangers' Brock Burke: Sent to Triple-A
The Rangers optioned Burke to Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports. The left-hander gave up three runs in his past two outings and will head to Triple-A in order to make room for infielder Jonathan Ornelas, who was called up Sunday. Burke has struggled to a 7.45 ERA and 11:6 K:BB in 10 outings for Texas this season.

Jordan Spieth aims to give back to golf’s youth

Cup, a youth golf tournament and fundraiser, which will take place in September at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas, Texas. Cup, which will feature 36 top juniors from Invited Clubs nationwide, who will earn their spot in the tournament by participating in a two-month long Golf Marathon Fundraiser to raise funds for the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation.
