Renovations continue at Standing Bear
PONCA CITY — Repairs are continuing at Standing Bear Park. Contractor Tyler Owens is doing his part by painting and repairing the signage. The six tribes represented which are: Kaw, Osage, Otoe-Missouria, Pawnee, Ponca, and Tonkawa, have a separate viewing area with interactive information signs with audio on demand telling the history of each tribe. Owens said he plans to spend the next two weeks installing the new signage at the information kiosks.
