BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - The Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute at WVU Medicine unveiled their new Neuroperformance Innovation Center on Thursday. The new state of the art facility will aim to assist WVU athletes and general patients who have suffered a brain injury, in hopes of seeing a full recovery. Director of the Concussion and Brain injury Center, Dr. Javier Cardenas has had plenty of experience with studying head trauma; especially amongst professional athletes. He believes what this facility can offer is one of one.
