REHOBOTH BEACH — Despite punishing temperatures during pretty much the entire month of July, the Rehoboth Beach Patrol reports, via Lynne Coan, city spokeswoman, that heat-related injuries are about normal for this time of year.

“We are getting some heat exhaustion issues, but only one trip to Beebe Healthcare. We’ve had several assists, but nothing out of the ordinary,” she said.

Current forecasts call for high temperatures in the low to mid 80s until Wednesday, with relatively normal humidity and sporadic rain activity, according to the national weather service.
