Indictment alleges 3 MVA employees took part in identity fraud scheme
Three Motor Vehicle Administration employees were indicted on identity fraud scheme and conspiracy charges, according to the Maryland Attorney General's Office. According to the indictments, the charges stem from a fraudulent scheme in the spring of 2022, when Larry Antonio Marshall, 54, and Shanice Tiera Smith, 34, both of Baltimore, were employed by the MVA as a contract custodian and as a customer agent, respectively, at the Reisterstown Road branch of the MVA in Baltimore.
