National Aquarium appoints two new leaders to finance team
(WBFF) — The National Aquarium in Baltimore announced today that new vice presidents of finance as well as financial planning and analysis have been appointed. As controller and vice president of finance, Lauren Nguyen will oversee the Aquarium's finance and accounting functions, as well as developing the organization's economic strategy. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant who previously worked at EY and 50CAN and holds an accounting degree with a minor in environmental science from the University of Virginia.

Steven Umberto Angelini, a resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Ellen L. Hollander on June 28, 2024. He was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and oxycodone, as well as possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
