Southwest Baltimore shooting declared justified after church burglary, police say
BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A Southwest Baltimore shooting was declared justified after an investigation revealed the victim was shot while burglarizing a church according to police. Police say on May 26, 2024, at approximately 7:56 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 100 block of South Mount Street for a report of a shooting. Once there, officers located a 59-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics responded to the location and took the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
