Yankton Post 12 had two squad members named to the 2024 Class A Legion Baseball All-State team, with Lucas Kampshoff on the 1st Team and Tate Beste on the 2nd Team. Kampshoff, a future Mount Marty Lancer, finished the Legion season leading the team in batting average, runs scored, doubles, and triples. Kampshoff was also tied for 1st in home runs and 2nd in RBIs.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Tea man is in the Minnehaha County Jail this midday, charged with rape, burglary and robbery. Court documents say 55-year-old Michael Kersch kicked in a door at a Sioux Falls home, early last Thursday morning, then used the wood from the doorframe to hit a camera and the victim.

Richard Carlson comes on the show to update us on a collection of early and mid-20th century photographs showing the life and history in the Black Hills. The towns of Spearfish, Deadwood, and Lead went together to preserve and make available a large collection of photos taken by Joseph and George Fassbender. This father and son owned business recorded a great deal of life in the Black Hills - everything from weddings and graduations, to the rodeos, tourist attractions, news events, local personalities, and the visits of Hollywood stars and Presidents that make the Black Hills unique. Carlson shares how he's organizing, identifying, and making the photos available to historians, collectors, and anyone else who might be looking for a certain image. Two Injured In Three-Vehicle Crash
(Sioux Falls, SD) — At least two people are injured following a three-vehicle crash in Sioux Falls on Saturday. The Sioux Falls Police Department says the crash happened around noon on Saturday on 41st Street and Veteran’s Parkway. According to police, the crash occurred after one of the vehicles failed to stop at a red light. Those who were injured were taken to area hospitals, but there is no word on their condition.
