Residents of the Masonic Temple in Renovo Host Successful Block Party for Local Youth
Residents of the Masonic Temple in Renovo hosted a block party Sunday afternoon, inviting area youth to stop by an enjoy music, games and even picnic food and freshly spun cotton candy on request. Bernard West had suggested the idea and then tapped other area residents to chip in and the result was a fun afternoon for about 50 kids plus adults that stopped by throughout the afternoon. Cornhole, rock painting and other games and activities proved to be hours of fun for an appreciative group of kids and their parents.
Man spotted driving recklessly multiple times in Renovo arrested
Renovo, Pa. — A 21-year-old Montandon man is facing felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from what police describe as "an ongoing incident" from June 17 to July 4. Nathaniel S. Strouse was driving at a high rate of speed up and down Fifth Street in Renovo on June 17. "He came within inches of intentionally striking a 25-year-old pregnant female on the street, who had to jump out of the way," police wrote in a press release. ...
Employees at local school district charged for sending explicit photos to minor
Lock Haven, Pa. — Two employees for Keystone Central School District allegedly sent sexually explicit photos to a 14-year-old. Dana Ann Kitchen, 36, and Brittany Kay Koch, 29, were employed as staff support members at the school district, according to a release from the Clinton County District Attorney’s Office. Kitchen and Koch were arraigned Friday in Renovo by District Judge Frank Mills. Both women are being charged with two counts each of corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor. Bail is set at $25,000 monetary for Kitchen and Koch. They are scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing in Lock Haven Tuesday, July 23, morning.
