Folsom greenlights $2.7M loan for new Affordable Housing Project
On Tuesday night, the Folsom City Council approved a $2.7 million loan for the development of a new affordable housing project in the city. The loan, conditionally approved through Resolution No. 11234, will support Pacific West Communities, Inc. in the construction of 52 affordable housing units at the proposed Harrington Grove development.
10 homes go on sale in Folsom as part of Habitat for Humanity affordable housing project
FOLSOM, Calif. — The city of Folsom notified the community via social media Thursday of a first-time homebuyer opportunity in the Historic District. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento, a housing nonprofit, announced last week applications are open to buy one of 10 single-family homes along the 300 block of Persifer Street. The project is the nonprofit's first time in its 38-year history developing in Folsom, according to Leah Miller, the president and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento.
