Rettenmund recognized in April by Fortnighly Club

Rice Lake High School senior Lilly Rettenmund, daughter of Jodie Rettenmund, was recognized as a Senior Girl Honoree at the April 9 meeting of the Rice Lake Fortnightly Club.

She has maintained a grade point average of 3.72 and joined the National Honor Society in her junior year. She has been very active in the Future Business Leaders of America and activities such as the Forrest Run, the Coaches versus Cancer basketball and Homecoming. She played volleyball her freshmen year.

Rettenmund has worked at Yogurt Blendz and Starbucks and now is working at Elite. She plans to get a second job this summer.

She is active in her church, where she has been a speaker, especially at Christmas. When young, she was an acolyte. She has volunteered at church dinners and bazaars. In high school she volunteered to make seasonal cards for the elderly and helped with gifts for children in need at Christmas. She also rang bells at Christmas for the Salvation Army.
