    Cameron Bluegrass Festival marks 18th year

    The public is invited to the 18th annual Cameron Bluegrass Festival to be held Sept. 6-8 at Pioneer Village Museum, located on Highway W, west of Cameron.

    The music begins at 5 p.m. Friday with vendors, workshops and food available. The museum buildings will also be open during the festival. The gate fee is $15 for Friday from 5-9 p.m., $25 for Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and $15 for Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Rough camping is offered at $25 per day. Appearing Saturday and Sunday are Art Stevenson & Highwater, and headliner, Tommy Brown from Kentucky. A variety of talented local and regional bands will complete the rest of the schedule. For more information visit cameronbluegrass.com.
