CLEVELAND — Statistics show crime is down in Cleveland this year compared to last, but unfortunately, that didn't stop this past weekend from turning especially violent. According to the Cleveland Division of Police, 12 people were shot in seven separate conflicts beginning late Friday night into early Monday morning. EUCLID, Ohio – Here is the Euclid Police Blotter for June 24 through June 30. Police responded on June 28 to a report of suspicious activity at a vacant home. The caller, a neighbor, told officers that he saw four men coming and going from the vacant residence, which was on the market for sale. Officers did not find anyone inside, but they did find that the front door was open and that the knob on a side door to the house had been damaged.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Police are investigating the slaying of an 18-year-old man Friday on the city’s East Side. Gary Lamar Dancy Jr. of Cleveland was fatally shot about 9:20 p.m. in the 16000 block of Talford Avenue, according to police and the office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner.
Woman dies after car collides head-on into barrier in Cleveland
CLEVELAND — A woman was killed after her car veered into a traffic barrier on I-90 in Cleveland overnight Sunday, police said. A Cleveland police sergeant confirmed that the 55-year-old woman was driving eastbound on I-90 at around 2:45 a.m. Sunday when her car veered out of the lane for "unknown reasons." The car collided head-on into a jersey barrier before being forced off the roadway and up an embankment where it hit a fence.
