St. Cloud Debuts New-Look East St. Germain Street, Downtown Stretch Reopen To Through Traffic
(KNSI) – East St. Germain Street in St. Cloud has a new look from Veterans Bridge to near Iron Street Distillery. Parallel parking now lines the north side of the road, changing the configuration from two lanes of traffic in each direction to a single lane plus a permanent left-hand turn lane. Crews spent June installing new stoplights to match the road design.
Waite Park Mayor Rick Miller Receives League of Minnesota Cities’ Prestigious C.C. Ludwig Award for Outstanding Leadership
(KNSI) – Waite Park Mayor Rick Miller has been recognized for his years leading the city. Miller is the League of Minnesota Cities’ 2024 C.C. Ludwig Award recipient. The honor is named for a former League executive director and is its highest award for elected officials. The two time mayor first served the city from 1996-2001 and began his current term in 2007 after he was reelected as a write-in candidate.
