The Republican National Convention is underway in Milwaukee, and we’re getting a strong reminder that all skinfolk ain’t kinfolk. Let me be clear. I’m all for varied thought processes. Black people are not monolithic. There are several issues for both parties, so I get Black folks deciding to be Republican or Independent. What I don’t get are the Black GOPers who peddle white supremacist rhetoric as a way of being accepted into the Republican fold.
Former Library Transforms into Fulshear Annex, Including Fulshear Community Health Clinic
Today, the Fort Bend County Health and Human Services (FBCHHS) Community Health Clinic opened its doors at the Fulshear Annex, the former location of the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library. The library, named after Commissioner Bob Lutts, was originally opened in May 1998 and served the community until its doors closed in May 2023 to make way for the new Fulshear Branch Library.

Fort Bend County's dining landscape is witnessing a significant expansion with the recent and upcoming openings of several eateries that promise to cater to a variety of palates. According to the Houston Chronicle, newcomers include Absolute Thai Cuisine, serving up authentic Thai street food, and Revive Cafe, a kid-friendly spot in Fulshear with boba tea and specialty coffees on its menu. Also joining the fray is Trophy Tea Café in Katy, blending poke bowls with an array of boba and fruit teas.

They will continue to focus on vegetation and work through the weekend and into next week. The city has been divided into four sections for debris pick up and there has been a truck deployed in each of the four sections. They have methodically been working through each street in each section. They pick up where they leave off each day and continue.
