Ladies Golf Too RVA launches with Inaugural Golf Clinic, Champagne Social

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A nonprofit organization aimed at empowering women through golf, named “Ladies Golf Too RVA,” officially launched with an Inaugural Golf Clinic and Champagne Social on Thursday.

In a June 27 press release, the organization announced its official launch and the events held to kick off its operations. From 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, Ladies Golf Too RVA hosted a Golf Clinic — a one-hour golf lesson — followed by a Champagne Social.

Both events took place at the Magnolia Green Golf Club, located at 7001 Awesome Drive in Chesterfield County.

“Our mission is to promote diversity and inclusion within the sport, support community charitable efforts, provide mentorship programs for young golfers and host monthly wellness events to enhance mental health and awareness,” the release reads.

Following these inaugural events, Ladies Golf Too RVA will host bi-weekly golf clinics, according to the release. Certified PGA trainers will conduct these lessons at various courses throughout the Richmond area.
