Nightly lane closures coming to I-95 South in Hanover for about a week

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Late-night and early-morning drivers on Interstate 95 South in Hanover County may experience delays due to overnight road work starting Tuesday.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), lane closures will be in place on I-95 South near Doswell starting Tuesday, July 9, and ending Friday, July 12.

First, there will be double-lane closures between mile markers 94 and 96 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on July 9 and 10. Then a single-lane closure will be in place nightly from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. starting July 10 and ending July 12.

According to VDOT, these closures will allow for a jersey wall barrier to be installed.
