RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Flying Squirrels comeback on Friday night came up just short as they fell to the Bowie Baysox 6-4.

The Baysox scored early in this one as Donta Williams scored on a fielder’s choice. That would just be the start for Bowie who would go on to take a 4-0 lead in this one after TT Bowens hit a solo homer in the top of the fifth.

In the bottom of the seventh, Glowenke hit a two-run homer to cut the deficit to 5-3. He would hit a two-run double in the ninth inning to bring the Squirrels within two runs but it was too little too late.

Bowie takes a 3-2 series advantage heading to the series finale tomorrow night at 6:05

7692 fans were in attendance for the game.
