Richmond Police say victim in weekend homicide was from Prince George County

RICHMOND – Police say the man shot to death late Saturday night downtown was a Prince George County resident.

Robert Allen, 36, was one of three men authorities discovered shot on West Broad Street near Belvidere Street and the only one to die of his wounds at a local hospital. The other victims’ injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Allen’s body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office to determine the exact cause of death.

Anyone who may have information on the shooting is asked to contact Richmond Detective G. Sullivan at (804) 646-3929. That information can also be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-100 or the P3Tips mobile app.
