Rhythm On The River returns for its 4th annual weekend

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Rhythm On The River is making a comeback for its 4th annual event-filled weekend in Richmond.
The Rhythm On The River ’24 Weekend will kick off on Friday, Aug. 2, and will continue on through Sunday, Aug. 4 in multiple locations in the Greater Richmond area.
According to a spokesperson with Sol Skool Entertainment, those attending can expect an artistic festival curated by independent artists in Central Virginia. The weekend will feature live music, performances, spoken word and visual arts.

Below is a line up of events for the Rhythm On The River ’24 Weekend:
Friday, Aug. 2 :
Rhythm On The River at Virginia Museum of Fine Arts — The free event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be hosted by Jamil Jasey, Friday Love and Demi Power.
Unleash The Night at Harry’s at Hofheimer — The free event will take place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and is located at 2818 W. Broad St., 2nd Floor Library.
Saturday, Aug. 3 :
Rooftop Brunch at Harry’s at Hofheimer — This free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with music from DJ Jay Dion and DJ Monae. Visit Harry’s at Hofheimer’s website to reserve a table. Enjoy live painting by Xetxeta and spoken word performances from Melanie Monji.
Rhythm On The River ’24 DJ Set at LOSO — This event will take place from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. and is located at 2727 W. Broad St., on the Patio. There will be a cover charge of $10 to attend. The event will feature music from DJ Jay Dion, DJ Jigsaw, Rich Gifted Hands and DJ RM.
Sunday, Aug. 4 :
The Groove: Ladies Night at The Len — This free event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. and is located at 15 N. 17th Street, with hosting and music by DJ F Love. Come enjoy spoken word from women poets.
