Red Cross sets up emergency supply distribution sites

Vermont Business Magazine Over the next four days, the American Red Cross will host emergency disaster supply distribution sites in several communities across Vermont. At these sites, Red Cross volunteers will be handing out water and clean-up kits. These kits contain: bucket, cleaner (typically bleach), mask, gloves, garbage bags, brush, mop, brooms, squeegee and handles. All Red Cross assistance is provided free of charge and made possible by the generosity of the public.
Harbour Thread boutique opens in St. Pete
Harbour Thread, a clothing and accessories boutique originally from Burlington, Vermont, has officially opened its second location in St. Petersburg. Harbour Thread sits inside a 2,447-square-foot retail space in the Grand Central District at 40 22nd St. S. Owner Llyndara Harbour said the brand originally started as a footwear boutique – in Burlington – more than 20 years ago.
Local contractors pitch in to help town road crews re-open road

That was evident throughout The Valley and Vermont in the aftermath of July 10 flooding that heavily damaged local roads, especially those in Fayston, Moretown, Duxbury and Waterbury.
Estes Joins Men's Basketball Staff as Director of Basketball Operations
BURLINGTON, Vt. – Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach John Becker announced that Braeden Estes has joined his staff as director of basketball operations. "I'm really excited to add Braeden to our staff," Becker said. "He has experience in this league as a manager for Bill Herrion at New Hampshire, and a lot of overall experience for this position, so he's going to be a huge addition to our staff. And with the new rules, we'll be able to take advantage of the experience he has on the recruiting trail. Working for great coaches like Herrion and David McLaughlin at Dartmouth, he's going to be really, really prepared."
