A police chase on Sunday night ended with arrest of an 18 year old who allegedly stole a vehicle in Warrenville. On Sunday, July 21st at 9:33 p.m. Will County Sheriff Deputies located a stolen blue Hyundai sedan near the area of Midland and Jefferson. The vehicle was stolen in Warrenville earlier that morning by suspects that were armed with handguns.

On July 11, at 9 p.m., Peotone Police were requested to meet with a complainant standing by at the police department in reference to a harassment complaint. The officer responded and met with the complainant, who advised they were being harassed via email and other electronic accounts by an ex. After hearing the complainant’s concerns, the officer supplied the complainant information on how to obtain an order of protection if they chose to do so.

No Injuries in Peotone Structural Fire
The Manhattan Fire Protection District was called to a structural fire that required a full-still additional personnel activation in Peotone on July 10. The fire, which occurred at a West Street residence within Peotone village limits, was contained to the kitchen and extinguished within 15 minutes. No injuries were reported. MABAS (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System) 19 is investigating the cause of the fire.

Police in Highland, Indiana, were asking for the public's assistance in locating the individuals who blew up a "Little Library" at a neighborhood park this past weekend. At around 12:24 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to Brantwood Park, where an unknown person had used a firework to blow up the "Little Library" at the corner of Lincoln Street and Woodward Avenue, the Highland Police Department said in a Facebook post.

Will County Man Wanted in Grundy Co. For Failing To Appear in Court
A 35-year-old Joliet man is wanted on a warrant after failing to appear for his court appearance in Grundy County. Morris Police Deputy Chief Chad Skelton said they were called to a domestic disturbance on Twilight Drive in April of this year. During an investigation, Skelton said Justin Hill allegedly failed to exit a vehicle and threw a glass of liquid at an officer. No injuries were reported and Hill was transported to the Grundy County Jail.
