New Dorchester Heritage Center entering next development stages with new funding
RIDGEVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - A Dorchester area organization is working to preserve Lowcountry history in the backyards of Ridgeville community residents. The organization plans to open the new Dorchester Heritage Center on 81 acres of land along Highway 78 near Exit 27. The center itself plans to take up 20,000 square feet of that land to include a museum, archive and special event space for residents and businesses.

Lowcountry nonprofits receive grant funding, support
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Sixteen Lowcountry organizations have received $700,000 in grant funding from the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelly Foundation.
