Mustangs Carmichael Crowned Tucci 2024 CPL Hitter of the Year
The Coastal Plain League announced today that Lucas Carmichael of the Martinsville Mustangs has been selected as the 2024 CPL Hitter of the Year presented by Tucci. “It is an honor to be acknowledged as Hitter of the Year in the Coastal Plain League, which has really talented hitters throughout,” said Carmichael. “This could not have been accomplished without the complete efforts of a special team and coaching staff all season long. Further, it is a testament to the quality of the Martinsville Mustangs organization and their dedication to providing inspired baseball for their players every season.”

Three Men Arrested on Drug Charges in Reidsville
Three men were arrested in Reidsville on Monday on drug charges. The Reidsville Police Department executed a search warrant at 3 Circle Drive. As a result of the search warrant 43-year-old Reginald Brooks was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brooks received a $7,000.00 bond.
