Joseph Angelo Fantuzzi
Joseph Angelo Fantuzzi passed away August 8, 2024, at age 67. Joe was born October 22, 1956, to Angelo and Josephine (Grammatico) Fantuzzi. He graduated from Berkley High School in 1974. On November 23, 1979, he married Marie (Pollard) Fantuzzi. Along with his wife, Joe raised his two children Ryan (Emina) and Lauren (Tony Schneider) in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He had four grandchildren Ava, Anthony, Arthur, and Dean. Joe was employed by the Postal Service for over forty years. Many friends and family considered Joe as a “second father” or “favorite uncle.” Joe’s legacy will be the kindness and generosity he showed to all who knew him. He was a great guy.

TRI-CITY AREA — Almont and Imlay City were well represented at the Robinson Tennis tournament at the Port Huron Tennis House this past weekend. In boys singles Levi Lengemann of Imlay City went 5-1 to finish second in Boys Pool B action. Griffin Wetzel of Imlay City and Owen Viaene of Almont also competed in the boys singles event. Owen was joined by Eric Brown of Almont for a 1-4 record in boys doubles pool play. Levi was joined by his Dad Alex Lengemann as well in doubles going 1-2. On the girls side Alexa Lengemann and Hannah Sapp both of Imlay City finished a very strong 3-2 just missing the Championship match.
