Man sentenced for murder in Sterling Heights OWI crash that killed teenager
STERLING HEIGHTS – A man involved in a Sterling Heights crash that resulted in the death of a teenage boy has been sentenced to decades behind bars. The crash happened July 3, 2021. Police 17-year-old Patryk Koziol, 17, was driving west on 18 Mile Road when he was struck by a northbound vehicle in the intersection with Van Dyke Avenue. He was rushed to the Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, where he died.
