Michigan Teen Helps Save Man Dead For 14 Minutes At Car Wash
A Michigan teen is being honored for his part in saving a man’s life. On July 13th, Clinton Township teen Richard Blackwell and his cousin Lemar noticed 55-year-old Ed Fortuna lying on the ground at a local car wash. Fortuna was unconscious and bleeding from his head, so Blackwell quickly got help from nearby police Sergeant Paul Collins. The teen’s quick thinking was crucial, as Collins may not have seen Fortuna otherwise.

A tragic incident unfolded on the evening of August 2 when a 44-year-old man from Warren succumbed to injuries from a motorcycle crash in Chesterfield Township.
