Larry Turrell, age 76, of Imlay City, MI died Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at his home. Larry Charles Turrell was born March 4, 1948, in Almont, MI. He is the son of the late Charles and the late Estella (Schaaf) Turrell. Larry grew up and lived most of his life in Imlay City, MI. He is a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1966. Larry proudly served in the United States Army from 1968-1971, during the Vietnam War. He married Linda Walker on June 3, 1989. in Capac, Michigan. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Linda, on January 2, 2021.

Warren woman killed in fiery Sterling Heights crash
A 54-year-old Warren woman was killed early Sunday morning when the Ford F-150 she was driving was struck by a Dodge Charger and burst into flames. According to Sterling Heights Police Capt. Mario Bastianelli, evidence indicates that both vehicles were traveling south on Van Dyke Avenue and the Ford-F150 was stopped for the red traffic light at 15 Mile Road when it was rear-ended by the Dodge Charger causing both vehicles to ignite.
