A man who was swimming over the weekend at Lake St. Clair Metropark slipped under the water and drowned, authorities said. The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Harrison Township park, according to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office. Warren woman killed in fiery Sterling Heights crash
A 54-year-old Warren woman was killed early Sunday morning when the Ford F-150 she was driving was struck by a Dodge Charger and burst into flames. According to Sterling Heights Police Capt. Mario Bastianelli, evidence indicates that both vehicles were traveling south on Van Dyke Avenue and the Ford-F150 was stopped for the red traffic light at 15 Mile Road when it was rear-ended by the Dodge Charger causing both vehicles to ignite.
