Man, 57, dies while swimming at Lake St. Clair Metropark
A man who was swimming over the weekend at Lake St. Clair Metropark slipped under the water and drowned, authorities said. The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Harrison Township park, according to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the 57-year-old swimmer went underwater and failed to resurface.

A 44-year-old man driving a motorcycle was killed after crashing into a vehicle in Chesterfield Township over the weekend, according to police. Chesterfield Township police said in a news release the incident took place about 8 p.m. Friday when the two vehicles collided at the intersection of 21 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue.
