News Bites for July 31... … iHeartMedia Memphis presents the sixth annual “Memphis Chicken & Beer Festival” on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 6-10pm on the field of the Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis. The event is supported by stations urban contemporary “K97” WHRK, urban AC “V101” KJMS, urban AC WDIA (1070), news/talk WREC (600), classic rock KWNW (101.9), and CHR “102.7 Kiss FM” WEGR. On-air personalities “Big Sue,” Mike Evans, “Mic T,” Stan Bell and “Stormy Taylor” will be on-site hosting the event. In the past, the festival has drawn more than 3,000 attendees.
