Construction on Hills of Woodbridge subdivision underway
ORION TWP. — Construction on a new subdivision on Lapeer Road in Orion Township has begun that will have 114 residential units. The Hills of Woodbridge development includes 55 duplexes and four single units on 28.6 acres on the east side of M-24, north of Silverbell Road between Morgan Hill Drive and Hi Hill Drive, next to the Hi Hill subdivision. The Wally Edgar car dealership is to the south of the Woodbridge development and the Hi Hills subdivision is to the east.

Incumbent Lenox Township supervisor wins Republican primary
Incumbent Lenox Township Supervisor Anthony Reeder Jr. secured a spot on the November ballot after defeating a challenge in Tuesday’s primary election. Reeder, 25, was challenged in the Republican primary by Scott Clifford, a current township trustee. The incumbent supervisor prevailed with about 52.7% of the vote, or 357 votes, according to unofficial results from the Macomb County Clerk’s Office. Clifford received about 46.8% of the vote, or 317 votes.

Cottrellville Township’s incumbent supervisor and an incumbent trustee were defeated by challengers in the Aug. 6 primary election.
