New Rumor Reveals Charlotte Flair’s Return Storyline And Opponent On WWE Smackdown

A new WWE rumor has revealed Charlotte Flair’s expected storyline upon her return to WWE Smackdown this fall.

It has been a very long time since WWE fans last saw women’s division legend, Charlotte Flair. In a December match on Smackdown, the multi-time champion suffered a major knee injury. She reportedly incurred torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus ligaments and needed serious reconstructive surgery.

Since it was such a severe injury, her time on the sidelines was expected to be lengthy. However, a report late last month suggested her return is on the horizon. The multi-time world champion has also been posting videos on her social accounts showing her preparation for her comeback.

However, the big question is when she is slotted back onto WWE television, where will Flair land and against who? Well, some clarity was brought to that inquiry on Tuesday via the popular wrestling news X account Viper Reports . The account claims Flair will be back on Smackdown upon her return. And she will go right into a major program.

Charlotte Flair is rumored to go right into a feud with Nia Jax once she returns to Smackdown

“Flair is considered likely to challenge Nia Jax down the road with possibilities looming that it could lead to Flair vs. Tiffany Stratton at an upcoming PLE,” the account wrote.

Viper Reports also claimed that Nia Jax is expected to have a rematch with former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley before moving on to an eventual feud with Charlotte Flair . November is the rumored time when the women’s wrestling icon is expected to be back on TV.
