Foster is the president of the Greene County Historical Society, a farmer in Jefferson, and he collects antique tractors and farming equipment. A banned Iowa player won a jackpot in a casino, despite being self-excluded. The man, who used a fake identity, was arrested, prompting an investigation into the matter. Matthew James Wessels, 43, was a self-excluded player who enrolled in the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission’s self-exclusion program in January last year. However, Wessels couldn’t resist the temptation and eventually visited Isle Hotel Casino in Waterloo, according to reports.

50107 Summerfest will be held on August 2 and August 3 in Grand Junction. Most of the fun will happen in the old school lot, unless noted. Festivities start at 4 p.m. on Friday night with the opening of the beer tent. Gotcha Games Carnival, food vendors (Borrachos & Kona Ice), Greene County Cattlemen and yard games will start at 5 p.m. The carnival is the same group that was at the Bell Tower Festival.
