Lynchburg Gynecology is closing, a year after misconduct claims
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — About ten months after ABC13 reported on multiple claims of misconduct at Lynchburg Gynecology, the clinic confirmed it is closing. Back in September 2023, our team reported that a law firm was investigating Lynchburg Gynecology after claims of misconduct. In the following weeks, the doctor at the center of those claims retired. Lynchburg Gynecologist released a statement saying the accusations were false.

Albemarle, Greene, and Madison counties are among those in severe drought. Rockingham, Shenandoah, Augusta, Page, Warren, and Frederick counties are facing extreme drought conditions. While recent rain showers have provided some relief, meteorologists indicate that significant improvements are still needed to overcome the drought situation.
