One person is dead and three others are seriously hurt after a crash on Chicago's West Side early Saturday.Police said the driver of a Dodge Durango was heading westbound at around 2:10 a.m. on Lake near Kildare when he collided with a sedan.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Man displayed machine gun while filming music video on Chicago Riverwalk: prosecutors
CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was ordered detained as a safety risk after he allegedly displayed a machine gun while filming a music video on the Chicago Riverwalk. Police responded to a 911 call about people with guns near City Winery, next to the Dearborn Street bridge, around 8:30 p.m. on July 15, a CPD report said. The caller told police that four men and four women were flashing guns and filming a music video near the bridge.

Gunmen rob 2 Family Dollar stores in 20 minutes on NW Side
CHICAGO — Armed men robbed two Family Dollar stores in under 30 minutes on Sunday evening, one in Avondale and the other in Albany Park. No arrests have been made. Thieves use pick axe, sledgehammer to break into CBD dispensary on Chicago's North Side, second break-in reported minutes later
CHICAGO (CBS) — Thieves used a pick axe and a sledgehammer to break into a CBD dispensary in Lincoln Park early Monday morning. A second break-in was reported minutes later on the same block. Surveillance video captured five people breaking into the store near Lincoln and Webster avenues around 3:30 a.m. The store owner told CBS News Chicago they stole the cash register and between $4,000 and $5,000 worth of products. Chicago police said the group got away in silver and black cars.No arrests have been made. A second business, a vape shop just a few doors down, was broken into just minutes later. Police found merchandise on the floor.This is the second time in recent weeks this business was broken into overnight. It is not clear if the two break-ins were connected. Police are investigating.
Chicago man charged in Naperville armed robbery, shooting, police say
A 19-year-old Chicago man has been charged in an armed robbery and shooting in west suburban Naperville that took place earlier this year, Naperville police said Friday.Kanyon J.
