Cops: Purse-snatcher arrested on robbery charge after victim and Good Samaritans corner him in outlet mall parking lot Saturday
The victim of a purse snatching and two Good Samaritans chased down the suspect, who hid behind shrubbery at Tanger Outlets, while other witnesses called 911 Saturday afternoon, according to a Riverhead Police report. Police officers quickly arrived and located the suspect, who now faces a felony robbery charge, police said in a press release issued Sunday.
Cops: Calverton man busted for selling fireworks he traveled to PA to buy in large quantities

Suffolk County Police today arrested an employee for allegedly selling cannabis to an underage person at a Coram business on June 29.
