Study shows Dayton, Kettering in top 4 highest apartment price increases in nation
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A new study from CNBC ranked the Dayton-Kettering area number four in the U.S. for the highest apartment price increases. Since 2019, rent for a one-bedroom apartment has gone up nearly 40%. Several factors have influenced this change, including high interest rates, migration and base change in the value.
Historic Dayton apartment restoration project receives $2M tax credit
DAYTON, Ohio (Dayton Business Journal) -- A project to restore an historic apartment complex in Dayton just received a $2 million tax credit from the state. The Commodore Apartments restoration project was granted this tax credit as part of the 32nd round of the Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program. The award recipients were announced Wednesday afternoon by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jon Husted, and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik.
