Where local school districts stand in bus driver shortage before new school year
Bus drivers are wanted, and some local school district officials called getting enough bus drivers a constant struggle. “There have been a lot of retirements in recent years and that has posed some problems for our bus company but overall, I can say they've done an excellent job in filling those,” Somerset Area School District Superintendent Krista Mathias said. “We've never had to cancel school or anything here in Somerset, but I know that has been a difficulty for many school districts.”

Antietam limits bus service to grades K-3 for upcoming school year
